Repeat Prescriptions

All repeat prescriptions are computerised  and can be ordered in a number of ways:

 

  1. medication4You can tick the items required and place your repeat slip in the order box   at   reception. 
  2. Your local pharmacy can manage ordering, delivery or collection for you.  
  3. Via this website by registering and submitting your request.
  4. Through Emis Access if you have already registered at the practice. 

You will be asked to see a Doctor every six or twelve months to ensure that your treatment is still appropriate.

COLLECTION OF MEDICATION

Due to the increased volume of prescriptions to process, from 1 January 2012 please allow 48 hours for processing prescriptions from request to collection.

Please allow plenty of time for your prescription request to be processed particularly if your requested drugs are not on your repeat slip and need authorisisng by a Doctor.

If you wish us to post your prescription to you please enclose a stamped addressed envelope.

 

Filling in your request form

I.D. Please enter your postcode or patient ID number (on your prescription) in the identification section of the form.

Delivery or collection: If you have an arrangement with your local pharmacy to have your repeat medication delivered, or you simply prefer to collect your prescription from a pharmacy rather than the surgery , please state which pharmacy by choosing from the drop-down list on the form below where is says  "Collect from". Please note If you have never had your medication delivered before but would like to, contact the pharmacy of your choice first.

Under the "Care in the Pharmacy" scheme your local pharmacy may be able to prescribe treatment for minor ailments such as colds, coughs, sore throats, rashes etc. Prescription exemption fees will apply.
