Opening Times

*Extended hours Tuesday 18:00 - 20:00 and Saturday morning.  (Please note the surgery is open for pre-booked appointments only at these times, the telephone lines are not open)

Appointment times are as follows: 

Your GP or Nurse can only usually deal with one problem per appointment, this is so we can deal fully with your problem and complete all documentation afterwards. This helps us to run to time and avoid inconvenience for other patients, please dont be upset if we ask you to re-book if you wish to discuss other problems.

Extended hours will be covered by different GPs on a rota basis. Some Doctors have other NHS commitments, including  education, training and NHS management roles.

GP Availability

  This chart does not take into account holidays, sickness or any other circumstance that might affect a Doctors availability.

* Relates to GP clinic sessions i.e. diabetic, minor operations and well baby clinics. This may mean the GP may only be available for clinic bookings.

When We Are Closed

If you need to see a doctor urgently outside surgery hours, please ring:01257 418010

NHS Direct

In the case of urgent need when the practice is closed you can call NHS Direct (0845 4647) to speak to a triage nurse. Your needs will be assessed and advice offered or arrangements made for you to see a doctor.

Please do not ask to see a doctor out of hours unless you genuinely cannot wait until the surgery re-opens.

Call 999 in a life threatening emergency. Chest pain and/or shortness of breath constitute an emergency.

If it is not a 999 emergency but you need medical help FAST call the new NHS telephone number 111 for assistance.
