Asthma Clinic

The Practice Nurses monitor inhaler technique and medication for those with respiratory conditions.

Blood Clinic

The blood clinic is held on Monday, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday mornings by appointment only. To make an appointment, please ring the appointments line on either 01772 909914 or 01772 909915.

Diabetic Clinic

The Diabetic clinics provide regular checks and support for those with diabetes.

Healthwise and Healthy Heart Clinics

These are regular clinics for those with Coronary Heart Disease or those who may be at risk to provide regular monitoring and advice. These are organised by Wendy Duncan. To contact Wendy, please ring the administration office on 01772 909912.

Immunisations and Well Baby Clinics

GPs and Health Visitors carry out immunisations and baby weighing, and give feeding advice. The GPs carry out an eight week baby check.

Minor Operations

Removal of moles, skin tags, and joint injections can be carried out in the Minor Operations Clinic. Referrals are made for in house minor surgery. Please discuss with a GP.

New Patient Medicals

New Patient Medicals are carried out as soon as a patient registers with the Surgery. They are carried out by the Practice Nurse.

Well Woman Clinic

These take place on various days, with the Practice Nurse by appointment only. The clinics deal with things such as Contraception, Smears and Depo-Provera injections.

Practice Nurses

Practice Nurses run clinics every day. They carry out Blood pressure monitoring for people on anti-hypertensive medication, travel vaccinations and immunisations, tetanus vaccinations, dressings, stitch removal and ear syringing amongst other things.

District Nurses

The community nursing team delivers nursing care in people's homes. They are in contact with the GPs and come into the Surgery on a regular basis. Their direct telephone number is 01772 459733. There is an answerphone if they are not available when you ring.

Health Visitors

The Health Visitors are part of the community health services and are all qualified nurses with special training and experience in child health. They are in regular contact with the GPs and come into the Surgery regularly. Their direct telephone number is 01772 458155.

Midwives

The community midwives visit the Surgery on a regular basis. Clinics are held each week at the Surgery offering antenatal care. Post natal care is also available.

GP Surgeries

Surgeries run 8am to 6pm Monday to Friday on a rota basis. The Duty Doctor will see emergencies. Telephone consultations also available.
