New Telephone System:
Following our recent patient survey, which highlighted a number of problems with our current telephone system, the surgery has had a new system installed . The surgery telephone numbers have remain unchanged and calls will be charged at the same local rate. Note: for test results please ring after 11 a.m. The new system aims to improve patient access to the surgery and although we expect the change over to be as smooth as possible please bear with us during this time.
Extended Opening Hours:
Following our recent patient survey, the Surgery will provide extended opening hours with effect from 17th November 2008. We will open every Tuesday until 8.00pm and every Saturday from 9.00am - 11.30am for routine pre-booked appointments. The out of hours service will continue to provide an emergency service during these hours. We hope you will find these extended hours helpful.
Patient Survey:
We are currently awaiting the results of our recent internal survey.
The national survey will be starting early in January. We welcome the views of our patients and would encourage anyone that receives a survey to complete and return it in the envelope provided.
Booking an Appointment in Advance:
Our survey results show that a number of our patients are not aware that they can book in advance to see a doctor, nurse or health care assistant.
You can book up to seven days in advance.
Fewer advance appointments are available on Monday to help the surgery cope with the demand after the weekend. Please try and book in advance for non-urgent conditions.
